I did notice that connection!! I bet that's why I first suspected Mitsuki... I had just finished the Higurashi 1st and 2nd series a few weeks ago x3

The killer pics were epic. Pure epic. They made you suspect one of the boys for most of the time.

Well, I noticed first, "Hey, this is kind of like Higurashi, with all the talk about lies and stuff." As the story progressed, I noticed that Mitsuki looked ALOT like Rena.

Yes, I thought that the killer was a guy right up to the chapter before the wolf was revealed. D:

I love how there were so many twists and turns in both, seeing as these ARE psychological thrillers, but man... sometimes I was almost to the brink of pulling my hair out in frustration!!! x_x

Same here. Usually in these thriller types of books, I know who the killer is close to the middle of the story but my thought on who the killer was changed, like, fifty times. XD
